Strong Insurance Agency is a family owned and operated independent agency.  We have been serving all of Kentucky and Tennessee since 2009.  With over 50 years of combined insurance experience, our commitment is to our clients.  We pride ourselves on providing quality coverage and personalized service.

WILLIAM R. STRONG

Owner & President

William R. Strong,  owner of Strong Insurance Agency.  A graduate of Hazard High School, received his Bachelor’s Science degree from Union College with a major in  Business and minor in secondary education.  Bill signed a professional baseball contract with the New York Mets in 1965 and played at Marion, Virginia, then assigned to Auburn New York in 1966. From 1967 to 1970 a teacher at Hazard High School.  In Sept 1970 the insurance career began as agency manager of the KY Farm Bureau Perry County Agency.  This covered a period from Sept. 1970 until March 1, 2001, serving some 30 plus years with KY Farm Bureau.  In 2006, briefly worked as an agent with Elite Agency in Lexington,  In 2009, developed Strong Agency LLC which is an independent agency in Lexington KY specializing in Property and Casualty, including Commercial Lines,  Life and Health.

PATRICK STRONG

COO & Agent

Patrick is 1991 graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He was a four-year letterman, captain of the MSU golf team and played on the Space Coast Mini Tour.  Patrick worked for KY Farm Bureau for 10 years and in the Pharmaceutical industry for 10 years where he was the Synergy Award winner.  Patrick is a licensed Property, Casualty, Life and Health producer with 20 plus year of experience.   Patrick is an assistant coach for the Lexington Christian Academy Middle School baseball team and assistant coach for the KY Canes travel baseball organization.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and following UK sports and horse racing.

ANDREA STRONG

Office Manager & Agent

Andrea is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and has been with Strong Insurance Agency since they opened in 2009.  Andrea resides in Lexington with her husband Patrick and son Brayden.  In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play baseball and following UK sports.
